Back to Basics, Level 1 is the first in a series of classes Back to Basics The Right Way, the object of which is to explore how to improve your stitching and needlepoint techniques. The class involves a discussion of essential tools, proper ways to start stitching, compensation, and other techniques. Stitches discussed will include diagonal stitches, line stitches, crossed stitches, tied stitches, plaited stitches, filling patterns, knots, Bokhara couching, canvas appliqué, and traditional canvas appliqué slip.

As always, Tony’s Tenets are an integral part of the class.

Class Fee:

• $250 kit deposit due at registration
• Remaining balance will be charged prior to class

Class Size: Limited to 16 students

Cancellation Policy: Due to the advance ordering and preparation required for this class, the $250 deposit is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, store credit may be issued at The Needle Works’ discretion.
